(12 shades)- $14.99 for 1fl oz.

This is honestly one of the WORST foundations I’ve tried! Physicians’ formula needs to start truly understanding what buyers of age groups and different ethnicities merit the most when it comes to foundations. Let’s start with the shade range of only 12, and the tones of them are not great at all. You would think by now physician formula would get better in creating many different shades. Where is the dermatologist in their team don’t they know that fragrance is a no-no in makeup? This is so heavenly scented and it’s not a nice scent. It feels like your slathering butter all over your face. I tried this many different ways, with different powders to set and with or without primers, I even bought the putty primer that goes with this foundation. Nothing helped. I’ve had this for a while and constantly tried it to see if anything will work. The only good thing about this product is the glass bottle and the pump comes out evenly and easily. Other than that nothing positive about it. Let’s talk about the application the damp sponge is best to apply because the foundation looks so cakey and feels so greasy and just sits on top of the skin. It doesn’t blend easily, it separates which loses the foundation. It oxidizes and you truly look like an orange shade you know when you go to get a spray tan and you look orange. It enhances every pore, texture, and sinks into fine lines. It makes you look so old and dry. It irritated my skin and broke me out with small pumps all over my face. I don’t recommend it. I will be throwing this foundation in the trash.

On to the primer…

$11.99

As you may know, I’m not a primer fan I believe that it does nothing to help with makeup. But I bought it to see why this is recommended for the foundation. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this either.

I tried to make this putty primer work but it’s a no-go for me. I thought this going to feel like other putty primers I’ve used from other brands but it felt nothing like putty formula. It felt like butter, not in a good way but like butter, you spread on food but your face-gross. It seemed very oily in a greasy feeling type way-sinks in the face hence the word butter. Even when I wear it now in the fall-winter season when I tend to be more on the dry side it doesn’t look/feel good at all rather it be on top of makeup or alone. I can’t make this work for me any which way, as it pills upon contact with any skincare of my skincare routine underneath, even when I wait a while between applying like I always do. It doesn’t sink in the skin instead it sits on top of the skin. It does nothing to blur or minimize the pores, your pores appear more out there than when I didn’t have them on. If you’re looking for primers that blur and make you look smooth this is not it at all.

What do you think of primers? Have you tried this putty primer? Love to hear your thoughts.

Until next time,

Xoxo
