Schmidt’s deodorants (Rose + Vanilla)—Review

Hey beauties, I have sensitive armpits and many natural deodorants I’ve tried irritate me and cause a rash. I recently tried Schmidt’s all-natural deodorant which was the first deodorant I’ve tried. I got lucky at the very first try as it’s my “HOLY GRAIL”. With no further ado let me get to the review.

Ingredients:
Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) powder, Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) , Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil , Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) , Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (fractionated coconut oil) , Euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) Wax , Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil , Natural Fragrance, Tocopherol (vitamin E; sunflower-derived)

A little reminder: natural deodorants doesn’t block sweat, like traditional antiperspirants. But rather absorbs it with the clays and powders that also neutralize the odor. It may take a few weeks to ‘detox’ the chemicals out of your system. If it doesn’t seem to work right away, don’t give up! It’s all worth the results.

Ever since I first switched to a natural deodorant my armpits will never go back to regular deodorant. I recently switched to schmidts all natural deodorant. It’s cruelty-free and vegan, and it doesn’t have any aluminum additives. In my experience, Schmidt’s deodorant is very effective in preventing body odor all day. When I mean all day, I mean all day! The deodorant is a dusty rose color but goes on clear when applied. I loved the fresh natural scent it gives. I hear that a lot of people complain about the tough texture of the deodorant – but in the directions, it states to let the deodorant warm-up for a few moments on your underarm to make the formula slide easier (this is due to the natural / non-harsh ingredients) and I think it is worth it. It doesn’t feel sticky or stays feeling wet like other natural deodorants. I had been testing it out for a while now, through summer hot days, to throughout now fall weather. I also have tested this out during my intense workouts. It worked out so well through it all, that I just couldn’t believe it—what was the catch?! So, to believe it I asked my husband who is so brutally honest to tell me how I smelled after I worked out. Guess what, he said I smelled so good and asked what I was wearing. He didn’t know I was using a natural deodorant and he was shocked. Best believe that this deodorant works!! No hidden catch, it really does what it states and it’s all natural. I’m usually not a heavy sweater but, I was also surprised that it actually helped keep me as dry as my usual clinical antiperspirant would have in the past. No other natural deodorant I’ve tried does that. I can’t go a day without applying it every morning. Did I mention, once is all it takes for all-day protection.! I don’t need to reapply during the day at any time. I don’t want to keep trying other natural deodorants only to be disappointed. I’m going to keep repurchasing this product and using it. If you have been frustrated by the lack of performance of the natural deodorants, I strongly suggest you try Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant. I know you will be impressed.

You can purchase from your local department store or online at Schmidt natural deodorant.

What are your thoughts on natural deodorants? Have you switched from conventional deodorant? Have you tried the Schmidt deodorants?

Until next time,

Xoxo
