Physicians Formula-THE HEALTHY FOUNDATION SPF 20 Review

Hey beauties, I try not to review products right away, because my opinion usually changes in time. I’ve been using this one for a while and can give you my opinion on it. I have always been a fan of physicians’ formula even way back I went clean beauty. Most of my makeup now is physicians formula, I truly do love their products. So when they came out with a foundation I was super excited to get my hands on it.

Doe’s foot applicator1.0 oz bottle for $14.95 on physicians formula website

I had my eye on this foundation for quite some time but wanted to read reviews before buying it, like I always do. The packaging is so pretty, it’s glass bottle looks like one of the high-end foundation bottles. It has a doe-foot applicator which I’m not a fan of (wish it was a pump instead), worry about bacteria, and it does get very messy at the top of the bottle. The doe-foot applicator doesn’t pick up much product either, you’d have to keep dipping it a few times to get enough product out. The shade range is limit, but having 16 shade range is a big step forward to the future and has more options for shade range. When I started to blend this out I was in awe, It blends beautifully and looks like skin. It’s not cakey and looks better as the day progresses. The shade that I picked out was perfect and it didn’t oxidize on my skin. The con I have with this foundation is it separates and breaks apart from my oily skin. It’s too dewy, it makes me look like a grease ball and very shiny even with setting powder. It does transfer, and when I blot the foundation comes off, doesn’t last on me at all. I can see this working for people with dry skin, but for me, it didn’t work on my oily skin. I’m sad it didn’t work for me as I was hoping it to.

Have you ladies tried the healthy foundation? Did it work for you?

Until next time,
