Hey beauties, the weekend is finally here even if it’s a gloomy rainy day. As crazy as this sound I use to really not be into lipsticks or liquid lipstick. I was more of a lip balm or lipgloss kind of gal. The purpose of that was I really Didn’t like the feel of liquid lipsticks of how drying and heavy they felt. I’ve decluttered all my liquid lipsticks to find a healthy clean alternative with a comfortable formula and long-lasting. So when I saw that physician formula came out with a healthy liquid lip I was all for it.

At first, glance, when I saw them first hand I couldn’t believe they were drugstore quality because of the 12 shade range of beautiful colors. I couldn’t help myself to just one or two, I picked six shades. Not let me forget how luxurious they look, the packaging is super sleek with a clear, square-shaped, tube and a silver cap. The application is not as easy to apply because of the slanted doe foot applicator. The tapered point doesn’t make it easy to line the lips without getting the color in places I don’t want it to be. The formula is very smooth, light and comfortable to wear all day long. I would describe the texture as whipped or mousse-like upon application but dries to a velvety, satin-matte finish. One of my favorite things about this lipstick is that it is SO hydrating, and not at all drying. It’s not kiss-proof, it does transfer. For me, it wasn’t long-wearing as I would have liked, I have to constantly reapply. I’ve noticed that some don’t go on as smooth with one application as others do, the darker shades go on patchy and streaky. They don’t go on cakey or settle into my lines on my lips and I like they’re easy to take off.
Overall I’d continue to use these healthy liquid lipsticks, I just wish they were long-wearing and better doe foot applicator.
