CacheAlaska Beanie Wool Hat-Review

Hey beauties happy weekend, I’m really enjoying the fall weather while it lasts, because I know winter is upon us. When winter strikes us here in NY it can get pretty brisk. It’s hard for me to find hats or beanies that keep me warm.

When I came across the CacheAlaska beanie wool hat I had to give a try. I was fortunate enough to be sent this beanie from CacheAlaska complimentary to review.

Did you know that wool hats, and beanies have an interesting history? A wool hat or beanie is designed to provide warmth in cold weather. Historically, the wool hats was an extremely common form of headgear for seamen, fisher, hunters and others who spend a long time outdoor for working during cold weather.

Fall weather is the right temperature for going outdoors, without it being too cold. The winter months can be brutal with cold temperatures going down to freezing, so I need a beanie that is versatile to changing seasons. I also have a weird shaped looking head that a lot of hats and beanies just don’t fit comfortably or are itchy. But, that all changed with this beanie. When I saw this beanie I had to have it, it was screaming stylish and comfort at the same time. To my surprise, this beanie isn’t scratchy, or rough like many wool hats/beanies I’ve tried. I like the inner fleece band that is so soft and protects the ears from staying warm. The merlot color goes with anything I wear and it’s pretty stylish. This beanie isn’t too tight nor too loose, and it doesn’t move around or falls off it stays nice and snug on my head. Finally, a beanie that can hold me down for winter months to come, I look forward to giving this beanie so much love, wear, and tear. If this can stand the Alaska coldest winters it definitely can handle cold days here.

They come in 3 colors, ranging from $8.97 to $11.97
